The exciting jamboree which was held on 28th January 2012 was participated by around 800 participants. The most important of all, my RM50 MTB did survive the whole track!
The whole course, all 32km of it.
It was a 32km track, with mixture of offroad, a bit of paved road, and a lot (i mean a lot!) of uphills and downhills.
Lining up for the start. W00t!
The course were differentiated by separate sections, as going through the rubber plantation during the first 15km or so, then pass through some forest, and then through a few villages and finally the paddy field area.
My 7year old groupset does survived the whole track, in which my main concern is that the chain would snap during gear-change when doing the tedious climbs. Fortunate enough, they performed well, as well as my rims and front-end, light enough for me to do some bunny hops along the way ( i did saw a few guys failed doing this when there's obstacle and kissed the ground ).
err.. nice work
first she says Hi!, Hi!,.. then she says Bye! Bye!..
The locals mourned, "Abih basah kasut den niha"..
Some nice scenery along the way
There wasn't much pic on the rubber plantation, i'm not sure why, as those were the more interesting part of the jamboree.
The most important thing of all, our team did managed to complete the jamboree, and we have a lot of fun doing it.
Finisher medals.
Bicycles are everywhere!
So.. next jamboree, please?
